The Agency Cleans House
As a premier real estate boutique, the importance of giving back to the community is greatly understood by team members and partners of The Agency. And The Agency Frederick strives to find new ways to make a positive impact on the world at large; that's why they've made charity and philanthropy a core part of the company's values.
This year, The Agency Frederick participated in The Agency Global Clean Up Day. This initiative brings together people from all over the world to clean up their local communities. On April 21st, The Agency Frederick canvassed the second largest city in Maryland, and changed the local ecosystem for the better.
The effort was led by Brandi Dillon, Managing Partner and Realtor at The Agency Frederick. When asked about her purpose behind bringing this philanthropric adventure to Frederick, Maryland, she said,
“We're committed to making a positive impact in our communities, and we encourage our team members and clients to do the same. And by working together, we can create a brighter future for everyone.”
And on a warm April morning, many volunteers proudly joined in this effort to make the world a cleaner, healthier place. The Agency Frederick team left nothing behind at Downtown Frederick’s Carroll Creek.
The man-made waterway and linear park runs through the heart of Downtown Frederick, and features more than a mile-long walking path with bridges, art installations, restaurants, shops, plus other attractions along its banks. It has become a popular destination for residents and visitors alike to enjoy outdoor activities and events, such as live music, charity events, art expos, and cultural festivals.
Antonio Meza, frequent volunteer, and Realtor with The Agency Frederick, said,
“I think it’s great to help our communities, and help clean up! We're not only making them look better, but we're also creating a safer, healthier place for everyone to live. And it's really good that we got everyone out here to help do that.”
Frederick’s notable expansion makes it the fifth fastest growing municipality in America! With so many residents, and tourists enjoying Frederick’s outdoors, it only makes sense for The Agency Frederick to help out.They were able to attract volunteers from various business, and organizations; including the Maryland School For The Deaf, for whom translations were provided by The Agency Frederick’s very own Realtor Joi Moses.

A 15 year old volunteer, named Jayden, was happy to say that, “even though there was some yucky stuff it was a really nice experience to help clean up.”
Within the City of Frederick, you’ll enjoy:
- Numerous waterway ecosystems, including Carroll Creek;
- Exploring a wide variety of linear, and municipal parks
- Touring many immaculately restored historic properties and landmarks
- And County-wide natural resources

Due to Frederick’s swelling populus, The Agency Frederick made its mark, and The Global Clean Up Day was successful. For some, it can be hard to keep up with the amount of growth and changes coming to Frederick. But, The Agency Frederick set teamwork and philanthropy at the core of their mission, and believe
“It’s in the world’s best interest to positively impact our local communities. Not only do we build homes for those in need, we clean up the earth and seek to provide our neighborhoods a welcoming and gorgeous atmosphere for generations to come.”
